Terms and Conditions of Purchase
1. Services Provided
The site provides information and services related to organizing cycling trips, including itineraries, equipment rentals, and bookings. Services are subject to availability and may change without prior notice.
2.Bookings and Payments
After submitting the inquiry form for your desired excursion, the Slice Adventures team will contact you via the email address provided in the form. The message will include a summary of the details, pricing, and payment methods (e.g., bank transfer information).
Submitting the inquiry form does not obligate the client to purchase services. Reservations are confirmed only after the deposit payment is received as described below.
3. Trip Reservation Payment Policy
A deposit of €500 is required at the time of booking, payable by credit card or bank transfer (no additional fees apply).
If the deposit or final balance is not paid within the specified deadlines, Slice Adventures reserves the right to cancel the reservation without issuing a refund.
4. Final Balance Payment Options
The final balance is due 120 days before the trip start date.
If you book within 120 days of departure, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
Invoices default to bank transfer as the payment method. Credit card payments are accepted but subject to a 2.5% fee.
How to avoid the 2.5% fee:
- Pay invoices online via bank transfer, which is quick and easy.
- If you prefer to pay the final balance by credit card, notify us upon receiving the invoice so we can update it to include the 2.5% fee. This fee does not apply to the initial deposit.
5. Cancellation Policies
The following cancellation policies apply to payments made:
- 120+ days before departure: 75% refund of the total amount paid
- 90-119 days before departure: 50% refund of the total amount paid
- 30-89 days before departure: 25% refund of the total amount paid
- 0-29 days before departure: 0% refund
6. User Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring their physical condition is suitable for cycling tours. Compliance with local regulations and instructions provided during the trip is mandatory.
7. Liability Limitation
Slice Adventures is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the site or services, including but not limited to injuries, lost property, or delays.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the site, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is protected by intellectual property rights and may not be used without authorization.
9. Changes to Terms
Slice Adventures reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be informed of changes through updates on the website.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Italian law. For any disputes, the exclusive jurisdiction of the consumer’s local court applies, as per the Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005). For non-consumer clients, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Court of Siena.
